Where to Get the Best Apple Watch Series 11 Price in Australia 2026?
Where Australians usually get the best price on an Apple Watch Series 11 in 2026, now that Apple sells Series 12: comparing Optus, The Good Guys and Amazon Australia, trade-ins, sale timing, and going through ShopBack before you pay.

Short answer. In Australia in 2026, the best Apple Watch Series 11 price usually comes from retailers that still stock it, such as Optus, Amazon Australia and The Good Guys, because Apple's own store now sells Series 12 instead. Compare the same case size and model at each store, count any trade-in credit, and go through ShopBack before you pay at a store whose ShopBack terms cover Apple products.
ShopBack Australia is a free app and website that gives you money back on online orders at thousands of stores, including Optus and Amazon Australia. You open the store from ShopBack, shop as normal, and part of what you spend comes back to your ShopBack account as cash. New members can join free at shopback.com.au/signup.
How we checked. In October 2026 we looked at Apple's Australian Apple Watch pages and its Series 11 and Series 12 announcements, the Series 11 listings on Optus and The Good Guys, and the Terms on the ShopBack pages for Optus, The Good Guys, Amazon Australia and the Apple Store. We do not list watch prices, because they change often and differ by case size, model and colour.
Where can I get the best price on an Apple Watch Series 11 in Australia?
No single store is always cheapest. The best price is the lowest total cost for the exact case size and model you want, once you count plan fees, trade-in credit and what ShopBack returns at a store that covers Apple. Here is what the stores show at the time of writing:
- Apple no longer lists the Series 11. Its Australian site sells Apple Watch Series 12, Apple Watch Ultra 4 and Apple Watch SE 3, and the old Series 11 page redirects to the main Apple Watch page.
- Optus lists the Series 11 in 42mm and 46mm aluminium cases in Silver, Space Grey, Jet Black and Rose Gold, and its site shows free delivery nationwide on online orders.
- The Good Guys lists the Series 11 GPS in 42mm and 46mm cases, including Jet Black and Space Grey aluminium.
- Amazon Australia sells Apple Watch models, and its ShopBack page has a Mobile Phones and Wearable Tech category with its own live rate.
A simple routine works for most buyers:
- Pick the exact model. Decide on 42mm or 46mm, and GPS or GPS + Cellular. A markdown on one version says nothing about the others.
- Price it at three or more stores. Use the full total, including any plan you would sign up for.
- Get a trade-in quote if you have an old watch or phone.
- Before you pay online, go through ShopBack. Going through ShopBack takes a few seconds and adds cashback to the same order, as long as that store's ShopBack terms cover Apple products.
Apple Watch Series: which models are sold in Australia in 2026?
Apple's Australian site describes its current Apple Watch range as three models: Apple Watch Series 12, Apple Watch Ultra 4 and Apple Watch SE 3. That makes the Series 11 the previous main model, launched by Apple on 9 September 2025 with store availability from 19 September 2025, according to Apple's press release.
What Apple says the Series 11 offers:
- Up to 24 hours of battery life, and fast charging that gives up to 8 hours of use from 15 minutes on the charger.
- Ion-X glass that is 2x more scratch-resistant on the aluminium models, and a sapphire crystal on the titanium models.
- Sleep score and hypertension notifications, with feature availability varying by region.
- 5G on cellular models.
What Apple says Series 12 adds, compared with Series 11:
- 60x more frequent background heart rate readings and 24x more frequent HRV readings.
- Ceramic Shield 2 on aluminium models, which Apple says is 60 percent tougher than the Ion-X glass on Series 11.
- Fast charging that gives up to 12 hours from 15 minutes, with the same up to 24 hours of normal battery life.
For most people the choice is simple: if those upgrades do not matter to you and the Series 11 is meaningfully cheaper on the day, the previous model can be the better value.
Apple Watch Series in Australia 2026: is the Series 11 still worth it?
For many buyers, yes. The Series 11 already covers the health and fitness features most people use daily, and Apple rates its battery at up to 24 hours, the same as Series 12 under Apple's own test conditions. As the previous model, it is also the one retailers are most likely to mark down while they clear stock.
Buying the previous model sensibly. Check that the listing is new Australian stock, read the warranty details on the listing, and compare case size and band size carefully. The Good Guys, for example, lists separate versions with S/M and M/L sport bands, which can carry different prices.
Apple Watch Series best deals in Australia 2026: where they usually come from
The best Apple Watch deals in Australia in 2026 tend to come from five sources:
- Retailer markdowns on the Series 11. After Series 12 arrived, stores may reduce the price of older stock. Watch the exact model you want.
- Telco offers. Optus publishes offers on watches bought with a plan, each with its own end date and terms.
- Trade-ins. Apple Trade In gives credit towards a new Apple Watch for eligible devices, and The Good Guys' Trade-In Program pays an eGift card for eligible old tech.
- Education pricing. Apple offers education pricing on Apple Watch for uni students and educators through the Apple Store, though Apple's store now sells Series 12 rather than Series 11.
- Going through ShopBack before you pay. This lowers what you actually pay on eligible online orders at whichever store you choose, as long as that store's terms cover the watch.
Sale dates to note. Big sale periods are usually when previous models see the deepest markdowns: Black Friday falls on Friday 27 November 2026, Boxing Day on Saturday 26 December 2026, and end of financial year sales lead up to 30 June. Telco offers do not always follow the same calendar.
Optus vs The Good Guys for an Apple Watch Series: price comparison
Optus and The Good Guys both list the Series 11, but they suit different buyers. Here is how each one works, based on what each store and its ShopBack page show at the time of writing.
| Optus | The Good Guys | Amazon Australia | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Series 11 listed | 42mm and 46mm, four aluminium colours | GPS 42mm and 46mm | Varies by seller and stock |
| Delivery | Free delivery nationwide on online orders | In store or online | Home delivery; Prime benefits on eligible items |
| Own programme | Plan offers with published end dates | Trade-In Program (eGift card), 90 Day StoreCash, price beat | Prime membership |
| ShopBack Terms on Apple | Plan and device categories listed; read the exclusions | Apple listed as excluded | Mobile Phones and Wearable Tech category listed |
| Best for | A cellular watch on an Optus plan | Trying it on in store and trading in old tech | Paying outright with home delivery |
The Optus route. Optus sells the Series 11 as a smartwatch you connect to an eligible Optus plan, and its product page shows free delivery. To compare fairly, add up the full minimum cost of the plan term and compare it with an outright price at another store plus the cost of a watch service if you want cellular.
One thing to check at Optus. At the time of writing, the Terms on the ShopBack Optus page exclude orders completed via chat, purchases made through the My Optus app, and purchases using any discount that lowers the advertised price, including employee and student discounts and price matching, along with store promotions unless otherwise stated. Start on the Optus website from ShopBack and finish the order online.
The Good Guys route. The Good Guys is a good place to try both case sizes on your wrist. Its Trade-In Program pays an eGift card for eligible old tech, it runs 90 Day StoreCash as a voucher reward, and it invites shoppers who have "seen it cheaper" to ask about a price beat.
One thing to check at The Good Guys. At the time of writing, the Terms on the ShopBack The Good Guys page list Apple among the excluded brands, along with Gold Service Extras and any price beat discount amount. So do not count on ShopBack for an Apple Watch bought there. Use The Good Guys' price as a benchmark, then compare it with the same model at stores whose ShopBack terms do cover the watch.
Buying an Apple Watch Series 11 from Amazon Australia
Amazon Australia sells Apple Watch models, and listings for the previous model come and go as stock changes. Check that the listing is the exact Series 11 case size, model and colour you want, and that you are comfortable with who is selling and shipping it.
Three habits make Amazon orders go smoothly with ShopBack. First, empty your Amazon cart before you start, because the ShopBack Terms exclude items added to the cart before you click through. Then open the ShopBack Amazon Australia page and tap through. Finally, add the watch to your cart after you arrive and check out in that same session, without typing a code into the Promo Code field.
GPS or GPS + Cellular: the cost difference that matters
The GPS model does everything through your iPhone. The GPS + Cellular model can make calls, send messages and stream with your phone left at home, and Apple says the Series 11 cellular models support 5G.
The catch is the running cost. A cellular watch needs a mobile service of its own, which is why Optus sells the Series 11 alongside its plans. If you rarely leave your phone behind, the GPS model is usually the cheaper choice overall. If you run or swim without your phone, the cellular model may be worth it, so price the watch and the service together.
How ShopBack lowers the price of your Apple Watch
Before you pay for the watch online, go through ShopBack first. Going through ShopBack takes a few seconds and adds cashback to the same order.
Cashback lowers what you actually pay for an order. It comes back as cash, so it works like a discount on the price, not like points or miles. Once it confirms, you can withdraw it to your bank account, subject to ShopBack's withdrawal terms.
How to do it, step by step:
- Open ShopBack Australia (app or website) and search for the store you picked, such as Amazon Australia or Optus.
- Read the Terms section on that page to confirm Apple products are covered, and check the live rate shown there.
- Tap through to the store, add the watch to your cart after you arrive, and stay in that same session.
- Pay as normal. Your cashback shows in your ShopBack account as pending, then confirms later.
Working out what the watch really costs. Your effective price is what you pay minus the cash ShopBack returns. Here is an illustrative example only: on a $600 watch from Amazon Australia at an illustrative rate of 3%, $18 comes back, so the effective price is $582. Optus works differently: ShopBack pays a fixed cash amount on eligible Optus orders, so your effective price is what you pay at checkout minus that amount; the live amount is on Optus's ShopBack page. The real rate or amount is the one shown live on each store's ShopBack page, so use that figure when you compare stores.
If you choose Series 12 from Apple instead. At the time of writing, the ShopBack Apple Store page lists Apple Watch Series 12 as not eligible until further notice, while watch bands are listed as eligible. Read that page before you buy from Apple.

Promo codes, trade-ins and ShopBack together
Whether a store's own offer and ShopBack can both apply to one order depends on that store's terms, so treat each one separately:
- Promo codes. Usually, a code from outside ShopBack is the biggest risk. At Amazon Australia, the ShopBack Terms exclude purchases that use any code typed into the Promo Code field. Read the Terms on the store's ShopBack page and check the merchant's terms before applying any code.
- Telco offers. At Optus, the ShopBack Terms exclude store promotions and discounts unless otherwise stated, so check them before you choose a promotional plan offer.
- Trade-ins. Trade-ins usually pay you a separate gift card or credit. Keep the trade-in apart from your online order, and check the merchant's terms on how trade-in credit can be spent.
- Gift cards and store credit. Orders paid with gift cards, vouchers or store credit are often treated differently. The store's ShopBack Terms explain how.
For the general rules, see our guide on how promotions and ShopBack work together.
Other places to buy an Apple Watch in Australia
Besides Optus, The Good Guys and Amazon Australia, Apple Watch models are sold in Australia by JB Hi-Fi, Harvey Norman, Officeworks, Telstra and Vodafone, among others. Stock of the Series 11 varies by store, case size and colour, so search each store for your exact model and check its ShopBack page Terms before you pay.
Key takeaways
- Apple's Australian store now sells Series 12, so the Series 11 is bought from retailers such as Optus, The Good Guys and Amazon Australia.
- Compare the same case size (42mm or 46mm) and model (GPS or GPS + Cellular) everywhere, and compare plan deals on their full minimum cost.
- Apple says Series 12 adds more frequent heart rate readings and a tougher cover glass; if those do not matter to you, the Series 11 can be the better value.
- Before you pay online, go through ShopBack. Your effective price is what you pay minus the cash ShopBack returns.
- Read the Terms on each store's ShopBack page first, since The Good Guys lists Apple as excluded at the time of writing.
Frequently asked questions
Where can I get the best price on an Apple Watch Series 11 in Australia?
In Australia in 2026, the best Apple Watch Series 11 price usually comes from retailers that still stock it, such as Optus, Amazon Australia and The Good Guys, because Apple's own store now sells Series 12 instead. Compare the same case size and model at each store, count any trade-in credit, and go through ShopBack before you pay at a store whose ShopBack terms cover Apple products.
Does Apple still sell the Apple Watch Series 11 in Australia?
Not on its own store at the time of writing. Apple's Australian site lists Apple Watch Series 12, Apple Watch Ultra 4 and Apple Watch SE 3, and the old Series 11 page now redirects to the main Apple Watch page. The Series 11 is still listed by Optus and The Good Guys, so buy it from a retailer and compare prices across them.
Is the Apple Watch Series 11 still worth buying in 2026?
For many buyers, yes. Apple says the Series 11 offers up to 24 hours of battery life, sleep score, hypertension notifications and 5G on cellular models. Series 12 adds more frequent heart rate readings and a tougher cover glass, so the question is whether those upgrades are worth the price gap on the day you buy.
Optus vs The Good Guys: which is better for an Apple Watch Series 11?
They suit different buyers. Optus suits people who want the watch with an Optus plan or a cellular model connected to their mobile service, and it lists free delivery on online orders. The Good Guys suits people who want to try the watch on in store, trade in old tech for an eGift card or ask about its price beat. Compare the full cost at each, including any plan fees.
Does ShopBack work on an Apple Watch from The Good Guys?
Not at the time of writing. The Terms on the ShopBack The Good Guys page list Apple among the brands that are excluded, so an Apple Watch order there is not covered. The Good Guys can still be worth checking for its own Trade-In Program and price beat, and you can compare its price against stores whose ShopBack terms do cover the watch.
Can I buy an Apple Watch Series 11 on Amazon Australia?
Amazon Australia sells Apple Watch models, and stock of the previous model varies by case size, colour and seller. Check that the listing is the exact Series 11 model you want and that you are happy with the seller. Before you add it to your cart, open the ShopBack Amazon Australia page and tap through with an empty cart.
Should I get the GPS or the GPS + Cellular Apple Watch Series 11?
Get GPS if you always carry your iPhone, and GPS + Cellular if you want calls, messages and streaming from the watch without your phone. Cellular models cost more and need a mobile service for the watch, which Optus sells alongside the Series 11. Price both versions in the same case size before you decide.
How does ShopBack lower the price of an Apple Watch?
ShopBack Australia returns cash on eligible online orders, which lowers what you actually pay. Before you pay, open the store's page on ShopBack, check that its Terms cover Apple products, tap through and check out in the same session. Your effective price is what you pay minus the cash ShopBack returns; each store's live rate is on its ShopBack page.
Can I use a promo code and ShopBack on the same Apple Watch order?
It depends on the store, and usually a code from elsewhere is a risk. At Amazon Australia, the ShopBack Terms exclude purchases that use any code typed into the Promo Code field, and at Optus they exclude discounts that lower the advertised price unless otherwise stated. Read the Terms on the store's ShopBack page and check the merchant's terms before you apply any code.
When is the best time to buy an Apple Watch in Australia?
The months after a new Apple Watch launch, plus big sale periods such as Black Friday on Friday 27 November 2026, Boxing Day on Saturday 26 December 2026 and end of financial year on 30 June, are usually when previous models see the deepest retailer markdowns. Telco offers run on their own dates. Whenever you buy online, go through ShopBack before you pay.
Which other Australian stores sell the Apple Watch?
Besides Optus, The Good Guys and Amazon Australia, Apple Watch models are sold in Australia by JB Hi-Fi, Harvey Norman, Officeworks, Telstra and Vodafone, among others. Stock of the Series 11 varies by store, case size and colour, so search each store for your exact model and check its ShopBack page Terms before you pay.
