When Are Luxury Escapes Sales in 2026, and Is Black Friday Worth It?
Updated: October 2026. By Mirabelle Chew, Fashion Editor, ShopBack.
Luxury Escapes in Australia does not run one big annual sale; it sells limited-time holiday packages all year, each with its own end date, so Black Friday (Friday 27 November 2026) is usually not worth waiting for if the package you want is live now. Going by offers posted on OzBargain, standout deals landed in May, July and September 2026, including Maldives packages from $3,600 for two with direct flights from Melbourne. Whenever you book, go through the ShopBack Luxury Escapes page first.
ShopBack Australia is a free app and website that gives you money back on online bookings and orders at thousands of stores, including Luxury Escapes. You start from ShopBack, book as normal, and part of what you pay comes back to your ShopBack account as cash. New members can join ShopBack Australia free before their next holiday booking.
When does Luxury Escapes run its biggest sales?
Luxury Escapes' best offers are spread across the year rather than saved for one sale, because each package is a limited-time deal with a countdown and limited rooms. On its Australian homepage, offers are labelled with an end time, show a LuxPlus+ member price next to the non-member price, and list the inclusions such as daily breakfast or resort credit.
Here is when notable Luxury Escapes offers were posted on OzBargain over the past two years:
| Date posted | Offer as posted | Type |
|---|---|---|
| 1 December 2024 | Spend $2,000 at Luxury Escapes, get $200 back | Card offer (American Express) |
| 7 May 2025 | Cruise last-minute sale, up to $10,700 off per cabin | Cruise sale |
| 14 August 2025 | Spend $1,500, get $150 back | Card offer (American Express) |
| 11 May 2026 | Sea World Resort Gold Coast, 4 nights from $1,449 for up to 4 guests | Package |
| 18 May 2026 | $100 return direct flights Melbourne to Maldives with any accommodation package, limited to 100 | Package add-in |
| 12 June 2026 | Spend $1,500, get $150 back | Card offer (American Express) |
| 1 July 2026 | Maldives holiday from $3,600 for two, with direct flights from Melbourne and 5 nights | Package |
| 27 September 2026 | Port Douglas, 5 nights with flights and bags, from $645 per person ex Brisbane | Package |

The pattern. May stands out in 2026, when Luxury Escapes ran its Luxury Escapes Live travel expo at the Royal Exhibition Building in Melbourne on 16 and 17 May, according to an OzBargain post, and several strong packages appeared around it. Card offers turned up in December, March, June and August.
Is Black Friday worth waiting for on Luxury Escapes?
Usually no if you already know the hotel and dates you want, and maybe yes if you are flexible on destination. A package you like today may end, sell out or change before 27 November, and there is no guarantee the same hotel returns at a lower price.
Wait for Black Friday if:
- You are flexible on where you go and when, and you want to compare a wider set of offers.
- Your travel window is well into 2027, so you lose little by waiting a few weeks.
Book now if:
- The package covers school holidays or a peak date you cannot move.
- The offer shows a countdown that ends before late November.
- The price already beats what you have seen for that hotel, or you can claim the Best Price Guarantee.
Luxury Escapes sales in Australia for 2026: dates to watch
The calendar dates that matter for the rest of 2026 are Black Friday on Friday 27 November and Cyber Monday on Monday 30 November. Luxury Escapes sets its own offer dates, so check luxuryescapes.com from mid November.
| Window | 2026 date | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Mid November | From mid November | Shortlist packages and note their end dates |
| Black Friday | Friday 27 November | Compare any new offer with what you shortlisted |
| Cyber Monday | Monday 30 November | Offers often run through the weekend |
| December | Through December | Card offers have appeared in December before, such as the December 2024 one above |
Luxury Escapes official sale offers: LuxPlus+ and the Best Price Guarantee
Luxury Escapes' own ways to pay less are member prices through LuxPlus+, its Best Price Guarantee, and the inclusions bundled into each package. These are the official offers to understand before any sale.
LuxPlus+ is Luxury Escapes' paid membership. According to Luxury Escapes:
- Members get member-only prices on hotels, tours, cruises and experiences, and member prices on flights.
- Some stays and sailings come with bonus inclusions, such as hotel credit, daily breakfast or onboard spend.
- Members get early access to some popular offers before anyone else.
- Members get priority access to 24/7 support.
- There is a 28-day free preview, members can cancel anytime, and there are no booking minimums.
- Luxury Escapes says members can save over $836 a year, based on the top 10 percent of active members over 12 months.
The current membership price is shown when you join. As a past reference, an OzBargain post from July 2025 described the standard price then as a $500 joining fee plus $249 a year. That makes LuxPlus+ worth checking mainly if you book more than one trip a year, or one large package where the member price gap is big.
Best Price on Earth Holiday Guarantee. Luxury Escapes says that if you find a better price online for the same hotel with the same inclusions, you can send a screenshot and it will match the price once verified. Use it when a cheaper listing turns up after you have found a package.
Read the inclusions, not just the price. A package that includes breakfast, transfers and credit can work out cheaper than a lower room rate elsewhere. Compare like with like.
The category in one line: Australians comparing hotel and holiday deals usually also look at Booking.com, Agoda, Expedia, Trip.com and Hotels.com, each with its own ShopBack page, rate and Terms.
Luxury Escapes and ShopBack in 2026
For merchants like Booking.com, Trip.com, Agoda and Expedia, going through ShopBack is an essential step before you book or check out, so you pay less on the same booking or order, and Luxury Escapes works the same way. Going through ShopBack gets you a cash rebate on the same order, at the same store.
Cashback lowers what you actually pay for an order. It comes back as cash, so it works like a discount on the price, not like points or miles. So whether you book in a May expo sale or on Black Friday, the step is the same.
How to do it on a Luxury Escapes booking:
- Pick your package and note the dates and inclusions.
- Open the ShopBack Luxury Escapes page in a browser or in the ShopBack Australia app.
- Check the rate shown and the Terms, then tap through and book on the Luxury Escapes website in that same visit, not in the Luxury Escapes app.
- If payment fails or you leave the site, restart from the ShopBack Luxury Escapes page.
What the Terms say. At the time of writing, the Terms on the ShopBack Luxury Escapes page list these as not eligible: flight bookings; spend outside the room rate, such as room service or parking; booking protection and service fees; gift card or voucher purchases and redemptions; promo codes not featured on ShopBack; and fees, taxes and card charges. Bookings made in the Luxury Escapes app are excluded, and it may take until 100 days after your travel is completed to become available. No-shows and booking changes that create a new booking ID are not eligible.
Worked example (illustrative). On a $3,600 package at an illustrative 4 percent, $144 comes back, so the effective price is $3,456. Only the eligible part of the booking counts, so if flights are bundled in, the real figure can be lower. Check the live rate on the ShopBack Luxury Escapes page.
Card offers and gift cards with Luxury Escapes
Bank card offers on Luxury Escapes have appeared several times a year, and they usually come from the card issuer, not from Luxury Escapes. OzBargain posts show American Express statement credits of $150 back on a $1,500 spend in March 2025, August 2025 and June 2026, and $200 back on $2,000 in December 2024.
Whether a card offer and ShopBack both apply to the same booking usually depends on how the card offer works. A statement credit from your bank is applied after you pay, so it does not change how you book. Check the merchant's terms, the card offer terms and the ShopBack Terms before you pay.
Gift cards are a different trade-off. Supermarkets have offered bonus points on Luxury Escapes gift cards many times, according to OzBargain. At the time of writing, the ShopBack Terms list gift card redemptions as not eligible, so work out which saving is bigger before you pay with a gift card.
Luxury Escapes Black Friday and Click Frenzy 2026 deals
Click Frenzy runs Australian online sale events, with the main event usually held in November close to Black Friday. Which travel brands take part changes from year to year, so check the Click Frenzy website and luxuryescapes.com once 2026 event details are announced. If Luxury Escapes features, compare the offer with the past prices above and with any package you have already shortlisted.
Luxury Escapes deals on OzBargain
OzBargain is the quickest way to see what Luxury Escapes has offered and when, because members post packages with the price, inclusions and date. The table in this article was built from those posts. Before you act on one:
- Check the post date and whether it is marked expired or out of stock.
- Confirm the package, dates and inclusions on luxuryescapes.com.
- Remember that a code from a forum may not be one the ShopBack Terms allow, so compare before you book.
