Is ALL Accor or Accor Plus Membership Worth It in Australia in 2026?
ALL Accor is free and suits most Australians who stay at Accor hotels a few times a year. ALL Accor+ Explorer (Accor Plus) costs AUD 369 a year and pays off for frequent Asia Pacific stays and hotel dining.
Updated: October 2026.
ALL Accor is worth it for nearly every Australian who stays at Accor hotels, because it is free and gives a member rate of up to 10% off, according to Accor. The paid ALL Accor+ Explorer membership, sold in Australia as Accor Plus, costs AUD 369 a year at the time of writing. It usually pays off only if you take two or more Accor stays in Asia Pacific a year and use the 30% dining discount.
About ShopBack Australia. ShopBack is a shopping and travel booking app used across Asia Pacific. Before you book a hotel, you go through ShopBack to the booking site, book as normal, and part of what you spend comes back to you as cash. Going through ShopBack is an essential step before you book Accor, Booking.com, Trip.com, Agoda or Expedia, so you pay less on the same booking. New here? Sign up to ShopBack Australia before your next stay.

Accor membership options in Australia in 2026
Australians can choose between two Accor memberships in 2026: the free ALL Accor loyalty programme and the paid ALL Accor+ Explorer subscription, which Accor sells in Australia through its Accor Plus site. ALL Accor is the points and status programme every member starts in. Explorer is a 12-month paid membership built on it and adds free nights, room discounts and dining discounts.
| ALL Accor | ALL Accor+ Explorer (Accor Plus) | |
|---|---|---|
| Price | Free, according to Accor | AUD 369 a year or 15,000 Reward points a year, at the time of writing |
| Room discount | Member rate, up to 10% off depending on brand | 15% off public rates at 5,000+ hotels worldwide |
| Free nights | None | One free night when you stay two nights or more, twice a year, at 1,400+ Asia Pacific and Middle East hotels |
| Dining | Earn Reward points at participating restaurants and bars | 30% off dining and 15% off drinks at 1,800+ restaurants and 1,300 bars in Asia Pacific and the Middle East |
| Status | Earned through nights or Status points | 30 Status Nights each year, so Gold or higher straight away |
| Best for | Anyone who books an Accor hotel even once | Frequent Accor guests in Asia Pacific who also eat at the hotels |
Figures are from Accor's own pages (all.accor.com and accorplus.com/au) at the time of writing. Accor notes that benefits can change under the membership terms, and blackout dates apply to Explorer free nights and member rates.
Accor runs more than 45 brands, and Australians will know many of them from domestic trips: Sofitel, Pullman, Swissôtel, Grand Mercure, Peppers, The Sebel, Art Series, Mantra, Novotel, Mercure, BreakFree, ibis and ibis Styles. Accor groups these into luxury, premium, midscale and economy tiers, which matters later when you check what you get back through ShopBack.
How the official ALL Accor rewards programme works
ALL Accor (short for ALL, Accor Live Limitless) is Accor's free loyalty programme, with over 100 million members and around 4,500 participating hotels in more than 110 countries, according to Accor. You become a Classic member the moment you join, and the main benefit from day one is the member rate, which Accor says saves up to 10% depending on the brand.
Earning points. Accor says you earn up to 25 Reward points for every 10 euros you spend at participating hotels, covering rooms, restaurants, bars and spas. The exact rate depends on the brand and your status.
Using points. Reward points can be used from 1,000 points, and 1,000 Reward points equal a 20 euro discount on a stay. Accor's own example: a 320 euro stay, minus 2,000 points (40 euros), leaves 280 euros to pay. Points can also go towards dining, events, partner airlines and car rental.
Status levels. Status is separate from Reward points. According to Accor's status page at the time of writing:
- Classic: from the day you join. Member rate, premium Wi-Fi, Reward points.
- Silver: from 10 nights or 2,000 Status points (about 800 euros spent). Welcome drink, late check-out, 24% more Reward points on stays.
- Gold: from 30 nights or 7,000 Status points (about 2,800 euros spent). Room upgrade, guaranteed room availability, early check-in or late check-out, 48% more Reward points.
- Platinum: from 60 nights or 14,000 Status points (about 5,600 euros spent). Suite night upgrades, lounge access, 76% more Reward points.
- Diamond: from 26,000 Status points (about 10,400 euros spent). Weekend breakfast, dining and spa rewards, 100% more Reward points.
For most Australian households, who might do a few weekends away and one longer holiday a year, Classic or Silver is where you will sit. That is still worth having, because the member rate costs nothing.
What ALL Accor+ Explorer (Accor Plus) adds, and when it pays off
ALL Accor+ Explorer costs AUD 369 a year at the time of writing, and it pays for itself only when you use its free nights, room discount and dining discount across the year. Accor describes it as a 12-month travel subscription that builds on ALL Accor. The headline benefits, according to the Accor Plus Australia site:
- Two free nights a year: stay two nights or more and one night is free, twice a year, at 1,400+ hotels across Asia Pacific and the Middle East.
- 15% off rooms: off the public rate at more than 5,000 hotels in 30+ brands worldwide.
- 30% off food and 15% off drinks: for your whole table of up to 10 guests at 1,800+ restaurants and 1,300 bars in Asia Pacific and the Middle East.
- Gold status: 30 Status Nights credited every membership year, which Accor says gives Gold status or higher.
- Member-only sales: Red Hot Rooms deals and More Escapes packages.
You can also pay the fee with 15,000 Reward points instead of cash.
A worked example (illustrative, using our own assumptions, not Accor figures). Say a couple takes two weekend stays a year at an Accor hotel where a night costs AUD 250, plus a five-night holiday at AUD 250 a night, and eats four dinners at Accor hotel restaurants with a AUD 150 food bill each time.
- Two free nights on the weekend stays: about AUD 500 of rooms you do not pay for.
- 15% off the five-night holiday (AUD 1,250): about AUD 187.
- 30% off four AUD 150 food bills: about AUD 180.
That adds up to roughly AUD 867 against the AUD 369 fee. Cut it to one weekend away and no hotel dining, and the value drops to around AUD 250 plus the holiday discount, which is closer to break-even. Run the same sum with your real travel plans. Blackout dates apply to free nights, so check them on the Accor Plus site before you count on a peak weekend.
Accor membership benefits: is it worth it for you in 2026?
For most Australians, the right answer is to join ALL Accor for free and only pay for Explorer once your own numbers clearly beat AUD 369. Here is how that plays out by traveller type.
- One or two hotel stays a year: join ALL Accor (free) and skip Explorer. The member rate and points cost nothing.
- Regular domestic weekenders: Explorer can work if you will use both free nights. Two weekends away at a mid-range Novotel, Mercure or Pullman can cover most of the fee on their own.
- Families on longer Asia trips: the 15% room discount on a week in Bali, Thailand or Vietnam, plus 30% off restaurant meals, is where Explorer adds up quickly.
- People who eat out at hotel restaurants: the dining discount applies to the whole table of up to 10 people, so frequent diners can recover the fee from food alone.
- Travellers who mostly book apartments, holiday rentals or non-Accor hotels: stay on the free tier.
Whatever you decide, the step before you pay is the same: go through ShopBack to the booking site first, so the effective price of the stay drops.
Booking Accor direct or through Booking.com, Agoda or Expedia
Accor's member rate, Reward points and Explorer discounts are tied to bookings made with Accor, so compare the final price on Accor's own site against booking sites before you pay. Accor hotels are also sold on large booking sites, and those sites sometimes run their own sales. The cheapest option changes by hotel and date.
Other hotel and travel booking sites Australians use on ShopBack include Booking.com, Agoda, Expedia, Hotels.com and Trip.com.
A simple way to compare:
- Price the same room type, dates and cancellation policy on Accor's site (logged in, so you see the member rate) and on one or two booking sites.
- Note what each includes: breakfast, free cancellation, points and status nights.
- Pick the lowest total for the booking you actually want.
- Go through ShopBack to that site before you book, so the price you end up paying is lower still.
For merchants like Accor, Booking.com, Trip.com, Agoda and Expedia, going through ShopBack is an essential step before you book or check out, so you pay less on the same booking.
How to book an Accor stay through ShopBack
ShopBack is a post-purchase discount: go through it before you pay and the effective price of your Accor stay drops. Here is the order that works for most people:
- Join ALL Accor (free) so you see the member rate.
- Open the ShopBack Accor page in ShopBack Australia and read the Terms.
- Tap through to Accor's website and book in that same browser session. At the time of writing, the ShopBack Accor terms say bookings made in the Accor app do not track, so finish on the website.
- Use only promo codes listed on ShopBack, because outside codes can stop the purchase tracking.
- Stay as booked. At the time of writing, the terms say money back is credited for completed stays, and no-shows or bookings that change the booking ID usually do not count.
Cashback lowers what you actually pay for an order. It comes back as cash, so it works like a discount on the price, not like points or miles. Here is how that looks. On a AUD 400 two-night room booking at an illustrative rate of 4%, AUD 16 comes back to you, so the effective price is AUD 384. Check the live rate on the ShopBack Accor page before you book, because it changes.
Your ALL Accor status can change what you get back. At the time of writing, the ShopBack Accor page lists different rates for new, non-elite and elite ALL Accor members, and by hotel tier (luxury, premium, midscale, economy). An Explorer member holds Gold status, so read the Terms for your status and hotel before you book.

It depends on the hotel and dates, so compare the final price for the same room on Accor's site and on booking sites such as Booking.com, Agoda, Expedia and Trip.com. Accor's member rate and Explorer discounts apply to bookings with Accor, while booking sites sometimes run their own sales. Whichever site wins, go through ShopBack before you book so the same booking costs you less.
Can I use ShopBack when booking Accor hotels in Australia?
ShopBack Australia lists Accor, and going through the ShopBack Accor page before you book on Accor's website means part of what you pay on eligible room rates comes back to you. It comes back as cash, so it works like a discount on the price, not like points. Complete the booking in the same browser session ShopBack opens and read the Terms on the page first.

It can. At the time of writing, the ShopBack Accor page shows different rates depending on whether you are a new, non-elite or elite ALL Accor member and on the hotel brand tier, from luxury and premium to midscale and economy. Read the Terms on the ShopBack Accor page for your status and hotel before you book.
Who should skip Accor Plus?
Travellers who stay in hotels only once or twice a year, mostly book outside Asia Pacific, or prefer serviced apartments and holiday rentals will usually get more from the free ALL Accor membership alone.
