These are past prices, not current offers, and stock on many of them sold out. What the pattern shows is that a good Dyson price can turn up at almost any time of year, while November to December brings the most models on sale at once.

Dyson vacuum sale prices in Australia for 2026

Stick vacuums are the Dyson products most often on sale, and the older models fall furthest. Based on OzBargain posts from the past year:

• V8 range: the most frequently discounted, with Dyson-direct prices posted between A$310.40 and A$336 in 2026, with an RRP of A$799 listed for the V8 handstick.
• V9 Submarine (wet and dry): A$625.50 in February 2026 and A$494 in May 2026, both against A$999.
• V15 Detect Absolute: A$676 in December 2025, A$787.50 in April 2026 and A$899 with a Dok in September 2026.
• Newer models such as PencilVac: A$749 against A$949 in November 2025, then A$479.20 against A$849 in September 2026.

A simple rule for vacuums: if you want the newest flagship, wait for Black Friday, when newer models have tended to join the sale. If last year's model suits you, a mid-year price can be just as good.

Is Black Friday the best time to buy a Dyson?

Black Friday is usually one of the best times to buy a Dyson in Australia because more models tend to be discounted at once, but some prices in the past year were lower in December, February or May. Dyson's own offers in Australia have taken three shapes: a price cut on selected models, a free accessory or filter bundled with a machine, and student pricing. Two habits help:

Dyson promo codes and ShopBack

At the time of writing, the Terms on the ShopBack Dyson page say purchases using promotional codes or vouchers are not eligible, except Dyson onsite codes or codes approved by ShopBack.

1. Use codes shown on dyson.com.au or on the ShopBack Dyson page. These are the ones the Terms allow, at the time of writing.
2. Be careful with codes from elsewhere. A code from a forum or another site can usually make the order ineligible.
