Where Can I Buy AirTags Cheapest in Australia in 2026?
Where Australians usually get AirTags cheapest in 2026, plus which Apple Pencil to buy, whether the Apple TV 4K and the Magic Keyboard for iPad are worth it, how Apple, JB Hi-Fi and Amazon Australia compare, and checking ShopBack before you check out.
Short answer. In Australia in 2026, AirTags are usually cheapest in a 4 pack, bought during a retailer sale or from a store where you go through ShopBack first. According to Apple at the time of writing, AirTag costs A$49 for one or A$165 for a 4 pack, which is A$41.25 each. Check ShopBack before you check out at Apple or Amazon Australia, and compare the price after ShopBack with any sale price elsewhere.
ShopBack Australia is a free app and website that gives you money back when you shop online at thousands of stores, including the Apple Store Online and Amazon Australia. You open the store from ShopBack, shop as normal, and part of what you spend comes back to your ShopBack account as cash you can withdraw. New members can join free at shopback.com.au/signup.
This guide also answers three questions people ask while they are buying Apple accessories: which Apple Pencil to buy, whether the Apple TV 4K is worth it in Australia, and whether the Magic Keyboard for iPad is worth the money.
How we checked. In October 2026 we read Apple's Australian AirTag, Apple Pencil, Apple TV 4K and Magic Keyboard pages and their shop prices, and the Terms on the ShopBack pages for the Apple Store Online, JB Hi-Fi and Amazon Australia. Apple's prices below are list prices at the time of writing. We do not list retailer sale prices, because they change daily.
Where can I buy AirTags cheapest in Australia?
The cheapest way to buy AirTags is usually the 4 pack, on sale or with ShopBack, from a store whose ShopBack terms cover Apple products. Here is how Apple's own prices compare:
| Option | Apple list price | Price per AirTag |
|---|---|---|
| AirTag, 1 pack | A$49 | A$49.00 |
| AirTag, 4 pack | A$165 | A$41.25 |
| Four single AirTags | A$196 | A$49.00 |
At Apple's list prices, the 4 pack saves A$31 compared with buying four singles. If you only need one or two, singles cost less overall.
A simple routine:
- Decide how many you need. Keys, wallet, bag and suitcase is a common set of four.
- Check retailer prices for the 4 pack, especially during sales.
- Check ShopBack before you check out. At stores whose ShopBack terms cover AirTag, work out the price after ShopBack.
- Compare the effective price, not the sticker price, and buy wherever that is lowest.
What you get. Apple describes the current AirTag as the next generation, with a speaker it says is 50 per cent louder so you can hear it from up to twice as far away, an expanded Precision Finding range and a second-generation Ultra Wideband chip. Apple says it is rated IP67, runs for more than a year on a user-replaceable CR2032 coin cell, and can be shared with up to five people. It needs an iPhone with iOS 26 or later, or an iPad with iPadOS 26 or later, according to Apple's tech specs.
A handy travel feature. Apple says you can temporarily share an AirTag's location with more than 50 airlines, including Qantas, to help find a lost bag.
AirTag in Australia 2026: Apple vs JB Hi-Fi vs Amazon Australia
Apple sells at its list price with free engraving, while JB Hi-Fi and Amazon Australia set their own prices, which are often lower during sales. The other difference is what ShopBack covers at each store.
| Apple Store Online | JB Hi-Fi | Amazon Australia | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Price | A$49 single, A$165 4 pack | Retailer price, with sale events | Varies by seller and stock |
| Own perks | Free engraving, only at Apple | Catalogue sales | Prime delivery on eligible items |
| ShopBack terms on Apple | AirTag not listed among the exclusions; lifetime limits apply | Apple listed as excluded | Category rates; read the exclusions |
Sources: Apple's Australian store and the Terms on each store's ShopBack page, at the time of writing.
Apple. At the time of writing, the Terms on the ShopBack Apple Store page do not list AirTag among the exclusions, and they set lifetime limits of 32 AirTag 1 packs and eight AirTag 4 packs. That is far more than most households buy.
JB Hi-Fi. The Terms on the ShopBack JB Hi-Fi page list Apple among the excluded brands at the time of writing. JB Hi-Fi can still be the cheapest place on a sale day; just compare its price as it is.
Amazon Australia. Amazon Australia lists Apple accessories, though availability changes with stock and seller. Check that the listing is the current AirTag and who sells and ships it. Empty your cart before you start from the ShopBack Amazon Australia page, because items added before you click through are excluded.
Worked example (illustrative only). A 4 pack at A$165 from Apple at an illustrative 2% rate returns A$3.30, so the effective price is A$161.70. If a retailer has the 4 pack at A$149 on sale with no ShopBack, the retailer wins. If its price is A$163, Apple wins. The real rate is the one shown live on the store's ShopBack page.
AirTag best deals in Australia 2026: when to buy
Accessories like AirTag are often discounted at Australian retailers during the big sale events:
- Black Friday and Cyber Monday: Friday 27 to Monday 30 November 2026.
- Boxing Day: Saturday 26 December 2026.
- End of financial year: June, ending 30 June.
Apple's own store generally sells at its list price, so a sale price usually shows up at retailers. Whatever the date, check ShopBack before you check out at a store whose terms cover AirTag.
Which Apple Pencil should I buy, and where is it cheapest?
Buy the Apple Pencil your iPad supports, then the cheapest model that does what you need. Apple's Australian store lists four Apple Pencils at the time of writing:
| Apple Pencil | Apple list price | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Apple Pencil Pro | A$219 | Drawing and design on newer iPads |
| Apple Pencil (USB-C) | A$139 | Notes and markup on a wide range of iPads |
| Apple Pencil (2nd generation) | A$219 | Some older iPad models |
| Apple Pencil (1st generation) | A$159 | Some older iPad models |
Apple Pencil Pro. According to Apple, it works with iPad Pro 13-inch and 11-inch (M4 and M5), iPad Air 13-inch and 11-inch (M2, M3 and M4) and iPad mini (A17 Pro). It adds squeeze to bring up a tool palette, barrel roll, haptic feedback, hover, double tap and Find My support, and it pairs and charges magnetically on the side of the iPad.
Apple Pencil (USB-C). According to Apple, it works with a wider range, including iPad (A16), iPad (10th generation), iPad mini (A17 Pro and 6th generation), iPad Air (4th and 5th generation and M2 to M4 models) and many iPad Pro models. It pairs and charges by USB-C and attaches magnetically for storage. Apple's comparison shows it does not have pressure sensitivity, wireless charging, double tap, squeeze or barrel roll.
Which one? If you draw, shade or sketch and your iPad supports it, Apple Pencil Pro is the one to get, because pressure sensitivity matters for art. If you mostly write notes, mark up PDFs or navigate, Apple Pencil (USB-C) costs A$80 less and does the job. If your iPad is older, check Apple's compatibility list before buying the 1st or 2nd generation model, since each only works with certain iPads.
Apple Pencil best deals in Australia 2026: Apple vs JB Hi-Fi
Retailers such as JB Hi-Fi and Amazon Australia often sell Apple Pencil below Apple's list price during sales, while Apple sells at list price. As with AirTag, the ShopBack terms differ: JB Hi-Fi's exclude Apple, while Apple's do not list Apple Pencil among the exclusions at the time of writing.
Worked example (illustrative only): Apple Pencil Pro at A$219 from Apple at an illustrative 2% returns A$4.38, for an effective price of A$214.62. A retailer sale price below that wins; one above it loses. Buying an Apple Pencil with a new iPad? Price the bundle at each store the same way.
Is the Apple TV 4K worth buying in Australia?
The Apple TV 4K is worth buying if you already use an iPhone or Apple services and want one box for all your streaming apps; if your smart TV already runs every app you use, it is a nice-to-have rather than a must. Apple lists two models at the time of writing:
| Model | Apple list price | Storage | Extras |
|---|---|---|---|
| Apple TV 4K (Wi-Fi) | A$299 | 64GB | None |
| Apple TV 4K (Wi-Fi + Ethernet) | A$399 | 128GB | Gigabit Ethernet, Thread networking |
According to Apple, both run on the A15 Bionic chip, support Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and Dolby Atmos, and come with a Siri Remote that charges by USB-C. Apple notes the HDMI cable is sold separately.
Reasons it can be worth it:
- It brings Apple TV, Apple Music, Apple Arcade and Apple Fitness+ to the big screen alongside apps such as Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video and Kayo Sports, according to Apple.
- It can act as a home hub for smart home accessories; the Ethernet model adds Thread support.
- FaceTime on the TV and using your iPhone as a remote suit Apple households.
Which model? If your TV sits near the router or you use Thread smart home gear, the A$399 model's Ethernet port and Thread support are worth the A$100. Otherwise the A$299 Wi-Fi model covers the same picture and sound.
Apple TV best deals in Australia 2026: Apple vs JB Hi-Fi
The Apple TV 4K is sold by Apple, JB Hi-Fi and other electronics retailers. JB Hi-Fi may beat Apple's list price during sales, but its ShopBack terms exclude Apple. At the time of writing, the ShopBack Apple Store page does not list Apple TV 4K among the exclusions. Compare the plain sale price with the price after ShopBack at Apple, and remember to budget for an HDMI cable if you do not have one.
Is the Apple Magic Keyboard for iPad worth it?
The Magic Keyboard for iPad is worth it if you use your iPad like a laptop most days; if you type now and then, a cheaper keyboard case usually makes more sense. Apple's prices at the time of writing:
| Keyboard | Apple list price | Works with |
|---|---|---|
| Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro 11-inch (M5) | A$499 | iPad Pro 11-inch (M5 and M4) |
| Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro 13-inch (M5) | A$579 | iPad Pro 13-inch |
| Magic Keyboard for iPad Air 11-inch (M4) | A$449 | iPad Air 11-inch (M4, M3, M2) and iPad Air 4th and 5th generation |
| Magic Keyboard for iPad Air 13-inch (M4) | A$499 | iPad Air 13-inch |
| Magic Keyboard Folio for iPad (A16) | A$399 | iPad (A16) |
What you get on the iPad Pro version, according to Apple: an aluminium palm rest, a 14-key function row, backlit keys with 1 mm travel, a large glass trackpad with haptic feedback, a floating cantilever design that adjusts to different angles, and a USB-C connector for pass-through charging. It folds into a case for front and back protection.
Is it worth the money? Put it next to the iPad price. An iPad Air 11-inch from A$1,249 plus its A$449 Magic Keyboard comes to A$1,698 on Apple's list prices, which is laptop money. That is good value if the iPad replaces a laptop for you. If you only type emails now and then, Apple's own store also lists Logitech keyboards on its iPad keyboards page, such as the Keys-To-Go 2 for iPad, listed at A$139.95 at the time of writing, which usually cost far less.
Check the fit before you buy. Magic Keyboards are model specific. A keyboard for the iPad Pro 11-inch (M5) is listed for the M5 and M4 models only, so match your exact iPad.
Magic Keyboard best deals in Australia 2026: Apple vs JB Hi-Fi
As with other Apple accessories, JB Hi-Fi and other retailers may sell the Magic Keyboard below Apple's list price during sales, but JB Hi-Fi's ShopBack terms exclude Apple. Buying a keyboard with a new iPad from Apple? Price the full order after ShopBack and compare it with the retailer total on the same day.
How ShopBack lowers the price of Apple accessories
Check ShopBack before you check out. Before you check out, go through ShopBack to get a post-purchase discount on the order.
Cashback lowers what you actually pay for an order. It comes back as cash, so it works like a discount on the price, not like points or miles. Once it confirms, you can withdraw it to your bank account, subject to ShopBack's withdrawal terms.
How to do it, step by step:
- Open ShopBack Australia (app or website) and search for the store, such as Apple or Amazon Australia.
- Read the Terms on that page to confirm the product is covered, and check the live rate shown there.
- Empty your bag or cart, close the store's app, tap through and add the item after you arrive.
- Check out in that same session. Your cash shows as pending, then confirms later.
Working out the real price. The effective price is what you pay minus what ShopBack returns. On a A$219 Apple Pencil Pro at an illustrative 2%, A$4.38 comes back, so you effectively pay A$214.62. That rate is only an illustration; check the live rate on the store's ShopBack page before you buy.

Promo codes, gift cards and ShopBack together
- Promo codes. At the time of writing, the ShopBack Apple Store page says any promo, coupon or discount code makes the whole order ineligible. At Amazon Australia, codes typed into the Promo Code field are excluded. If a store does allow codes, pick whichever saves more.
- Gift cards. The ShopBack Apple Store terms exclude gift card purchases and gift card redemptions.
- Same session. Apple's ShopBack terms say you must complete the purchase in the same session in which you start it, without opening a new tab or coming back later.
For the general rules, see our guide on how promotions and ShopBack work together.
