Singapore Airlines Black Friday Sale 2026: Worth It From Australia?
Is the Singapore Airlines Black Friday sale worth it from Australia in 2026? Past fares posted on OzBargain show November prices close to the year-round lows, not a one-off crash. What Singapore Airlines offers directly, how to judge a sale fare, and how to book through ShopBack Australia.
Singapore Airlines Black Friday Sale 2026: Worth It From Australia?
Updated: October 2026. By Garry Shi, Cashback Expert, ShopBack.
The Singapore Airlines Black Friday sale is usually worth it from Australia only when the fare beats the year-round lows for your route, because past November fares were close to prices seen in other months. Going by deals posted on OzBargain, Sydney to Singapore return was A$679 on 11 November 2025 and A$706 on 21 September 2026. Black Friday 2026 is Friday 27 November. Whenever you book, go through the ShopBack Singapore Airlines page first.
ShopBack Australia is a free app and website that gives you money back on online bookings and orders at thousands of stores, including Singapore Airlines. You start from ShopBack, book as normal, and part of what you pay comes back to your ShopBack account as cash. New members can join ShopBack Australia free before the sale season starts.
Is the Singapore Airlines Black Friday sale worth it from Australia?
It is worth it when the November fare is lower than what the same route has cost at other times of the year, and not just because it says Black Friday. Singapore Airlines fares from Australia have dropped to similar levels many times a year, according to deals posted on OzBargain.
Here is how Black Friday season 2025 compared with the rest of the year on the most common route, return to Singapore:
| Date posted | Perth return | Sydney return | Melbourne return |
|---|---|---|---|
| 20 October 2025 | A$564 | A$736 | A$729 |
| 11 November 2025 | A$475 | A$679 | A$601 |
| 1 December 2025 | A$461 | A$676 | A$630 |
| 17 January 2026 | A$495 | A$711 | A$703 |
| 2 April 2026 | A$595 | A$846 | A$838 |
| 25 August 2026 | A$575 | A$743 | A$737 |
| 21 September 2026 | A$493 | A$706 | A$698 |

What the table shows. The November and early December 2025 fares were among the lowest of the year, but September 2026 and January 2026 came within about A$35 on the Sydney route. So the sale season is a good time to look, not the only time to book.
When Black Friday is worth it:
- You are booking a long haul trip where the price gap is larger. London return from Sydney was posted at A$1,385 on 7 November 2025 against A$1,542 in March 2026 and A$1,565 in September 2026.
- You can travel in the dates attached to the fare. Many sale fares come with travel windows and fewer change options.
- The fare is in the cabin you want. A cheap Economy fare is not a saving if you were going to pay for Premium Economy.
When to skip it: if your dates are fixed around school holidays or Christmas, the cheapest November fares may not cover them, and waiting can cost you seats.
Singapore Airlines Black Friday sale in Australia for 2026: what to expect
Black Friday 2026 falls on Friday 27 November, and Cyber Monday on Monday 30 November. In the OzBargain deal history for Singapore Airlines, the posts around Black Friday 2025 were route fares found by flight deal sites, not a sale branded as Black Friday by the airline.
What did appear in that window:
- Route fares: Osaka return from Sydney at A$858 on 14 November 2025, Taipei return from Brisbane at A$578 on 22 November 2025, and Hong Kong return from Sydney at A$682 on 8 December 2025.
- A card offer: on 4 December 2025, OzBargain listed up to A$100 off Economy and Premium Economy fares when paying with Mastercard, for travel from 19 January to 31 March 2026.
Singapore Airlines sets and announces its own promotions, so check singaporeair.com from mid November 2026. If a branded sale does appear, compare it with the table above before you book.
Singapore Airlines sale dates and deals in Australia for 2026
Singapore Airlines does not appear to run one big annual sale from Australia; low fares show up across most months on different routes. Based on OzBargain posts over the past year:
| Month | Example route and fare posted |
|---|---|
| November 2025 | Singapore return from Perth A$475 |
| December 2025 | Hong Kong return from Sydney A$673 |
| January 2026 | Ho Chi Minh City return from Sydney A$702 |
| March 2026 | Paris return from Sydney from A$1,448 |
| May 2026 | Bangkok return from Sydney A$864 |
| June 2026 | A$80 off return Economy from Melbourne to selected Southeast Asia cities |
| September 2026 | Bangkok return from Sydney A$772 |
| October 2026 | Vietnam return from Sydney A$388 |
Fares are shown as posted and may have been for limited dates. The pattern is what matters: a well priced Singapore Airlines fare is often available outside Black Friday, especially if you can be flexible on dates.
Singapore Airlines official sale offers
Singapore Airlines lists its offers for Australians on its own website under Promotions, KrisFlyer promotions and Student Privileges. These are the offers to check first when you search for official deals.
- Promotions page: route and fare promotions for flights from Australia, including app exclusive fares mentioned on the Australian homepage.
- KrisFlyer: Singapore Airlines' frequent flyer programme. According to Singapore Airlines, registration is free, and members earn miles on eligible flights.
- Student privileges: according to Singapore Airlines, verified tertiary students who are KrisFlyer members get 10 percent off eligible Economy fares and Premium Economy Lite and Standard fares, but not on promotional fares. Students also get a larger checked baggage allowance (40kg in Economy for most destinations) and a free first booking change, with fare differences payable.
Read the fare conditions. Cheaper fares usually come with tighter change and refund rules. Before you pay, check what a date change costs on the fare you are buying, because a change that creates a new booking can also affect what you get back through ShopBack.
The category in one line: Australians comparing long haul and Asia flights usually also look at Emirates, Qatar Airways, Cathay Pacific, Air New Zealand and Virgin Australia, each with its own ShopBack page, rate and Terms.
Plan the trip, then book through ShopBack
Plan the trip, then book through ShopBack. Work out your dates, route and cabin first, then open the ShopBack Travel Planner to see flights and hotels in one place, and book each part through ShopBack Australia.
ShopBack is a post-purchase discount: go through it before you pay and the effective price drops. Cashback lowers what you actually pay for a booking. It comes back as cash, so it works like a discount on the price, not like points or miles. That also means it sits alongside KrisFlyer: miles reward the flying, and the cash back lowers the fare you paid.
How to do it on a Singapore Airlines booking:
- Clear any Singapore Airlines booking you have in progress and close the Singapore Airlines app.
- Open the ShopBack Singapore Airlines page in the ShopBack Australia app or on the website.
- Check the rate shown and the Terms, tap through, and accept the cookies on the Singapore Airlines site.
- Book and pay in that same visit. If payment fails, restart from the ShopBack page so the booking still tracks.
Worked example (illustrative). On a A$700 return fare at an illustrative 0.5 percent, A$3.50 comes back, so the effective price is A$696.50. Airline rates tend to be lower than those on hotels or shopping, only the eligible fare counts and taxes are excluded, so your figure may differ. Check the live rate on the ShopBack Singapore Airlines page before you book.
Singapore Airlines and ShopBack in 2026: what the Terms say
At the time of writing, the Terms on the ShopBack Singapore Airlines page say only flights paid in full in cash are eligible, and money back is credited only for completed travel. Key points from those Terms:
- Excluded: taxes, booking fees and credit card charges; gift cards and vouchers; other loyalty programmes unless stated; and purchases using vouchers or promo codes not featured on ShopBack.
- Sale fares: store promotions, discounts or special deals are listed as excluded unless otherwise stated. Read the Terms and any campaign note on that page on the day you book a Black Friday fare.
- Timing: bookings track in about 2 days and confirm 125 days after your trip.
- Changes: no-shows and booking changes that create a new booking ID are not eligible.
- Miles bookings: award seats paid with miles do not qualify, because only cash fares do.
Several Australian sites that give money back on travel list Singapore Airlines. This page explains how it works on ShopBack Australia; whichever route you use, read its terms before you book.
Card offers and Singapore Airlines sale fares
Bank card offers can lower a Singapore Airlines fare as well, and they usually come from the card issuer rather than the airline. Examples from OzBargain posts include the Mastercard offer of up to A$100 off fares in December 2025 and an American Express statement credit of A$200 on a A$4,000 Singapore Airlines spend in December 2025.
Whether a card offer and ShopBack both apply to the same booking usually depends on how the offer works. A statement credit from your bank is applied after you pay, while a promo code entered on the airline site can make the booking ineligible on ShopBack if it is not featured there. Check the merchant's terms, the card offer terms and the ShopBack Terms before you pay.
Singapore Airlines Black Friday and Click Frenzy 2026 deals
Click Frenzy runs Australian online sale events, with the main event usually held in November close to Black Friday. The airlines and travel brands that take part change from year to year, so check the Click Frenzy website and singaporeair.com once the 2026 event details are announced.

|---|---|---|
| Mid November | From mid November | Start watching your route on singaporeair.com |
| Black Friday | Friday 27 November | Compare any sale fare with the past prices above |
| Cyber Monday | Monday 30 November | Offers often run through the weekend |
| Early December | First week or so of December | Late offers have appeared, such as the Mastercard deal on 4 December 2025 |

Does Singapore Airlines have a Black Friday sale in Australia?
Not reliably under that name. In the OzBargain deal history for Singapore Airlines, the November and December 2025 posts were route fares found by flight deal sites and a Mastercard offer, not a sale branded Black Friday. Singapore Airlines sets its own promotions, so check singaporeair.com from mid November 2026.
When is Black Friday 2026 in Australia?

When does Singapore Airlines have sales from Australia?
Low Singapore Airlines fares from Australia appear in most months rather than in one big annual sale. OzBargain posts show cheap return fares in October, November and December 2025 and again in January, March, April, May, August and September 2026, across routes such as Singapore, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Vietnam and London.
What are Singapore Airlines' official offers for Australians?
Singapore Airlines lists promotions, KrisFlyer promotions and student privileges on its Australian website. According to Singapore Airlines, verified tertiary students who are KrisFlyer members get 10 percent off eligible Economy and selected Premium Economy fares (not promotional fares), a higher checked baggage allowance and a free first booking change. KrisFlyer registration is free.

Yes, on eligible bookings. Open the ShopBack Singapore Airlines page, check the rate shown and the Terms, then book on the Singapore Airlines website in the same visit. At the time of writing, the Terms say only flights paid in full in cash are eligible, and taxes, booking fees and card charges are excluded.
Do Singapore Airlines sale fares qualify on ShopBack?
Check before you book. At the time of writing, the Terms on the ShopBack Singapore Airlines page list store promotions, discounts or special deals as excluded unless otherwise stated, and promo codes not featured on ShopBack are also excluded. Read the Terms and any campaign note on that page on the day you book.
How long does ShopBack take to confirm on Singapore Airlines?
At the time of writing, the ShopBack Singapore Airlines page shows bookings tracking in about 2 days and confirming 125 days after your trip. No-shows and changes that create a new booking ID are not eligible, so book the dates you intend to fly.
Is Click Frenzy a good time to book Singapore Airlines?
It can be, but airline participation in Click Frenzy changes each year and is announced close to each event. The main Click Frenzy event is usually in November, near Black Friday. Check the Click Frenzy website and singaporeair.com once 2026 details are out, and compare any fare with past prices for your route.
Are Singapore Airlines deals on OzBargain reliable?
OzBargain is a useful price history, because members post Singapore Airlines fares with the route, price and date. Fares sell out and change quickly, so check the post date, confirm the price on singaporeair.com, and start from the ShopBack Singapore Airlines page before you pay.
