The standard Coles Plus plan is about online convenience rather than a monthly discount. Finder's May 2024 review described it at $19 a month, with:

Because the discount is capped at $50, a shop over $500 does not save more, so a household spending $1,000 a month gets the most value by making its main monthly stock-up shop around $500. A year of using it on one $250 shop a month saves $300 before fees, or $216 after twelve $7 payments.

When it does not pay off. If you skip Coles for a whole month, or only top up with small shops under $70, you pay $7 for less than $7 of discount. Since the plan can be cancelled any time, pause it in months you shop elsewhere.

Flybuys (free). So the real value of Coles Plus Saver is the 10% discount, and the real value of Coles Plus is the delivery and collection savings, with the extra points as a small bonus.

Before you check out on Coles Online, go through ShopBack so you pay less on the same order. ShopBack Australia works with Coles, so you start from the ShopBack Coles page, tap through to Coles Online, and order on the website as usual.
