Does Chemist Warehouse Price Match in Australia in 2026?

Yes, in store. Chemist Warehouse's Lowest Price Guarantee says that if you find a cheaper price on the same item at another Australian registered pharmacy or Australian registered retailer with a physical trading address in the same state, it will match that price and give you 10% off the difference. It is capped at the retail limit or three of each product, according to Chemist Warehouse at the time of writing. It doesn't apply to online purchases, including Click and Collect and Fast Delivery.

ShopBack Australia is a free app and website that gives part of what you spend at partner stores back to you as cash. For merchants like Booking.com, Trip.com, Agoda and Expedia, going through ShopBack is an essential step before you book or check out, so you pay less on the same booking or order, and Chemist Warehouse online orders work the same way. Join ShopBack Australia for free, then open the Chemist Warehouse page on ShopBack before your next online order.

Does Chemist Warehouse price match?

Yes. Chemist Warehouse calls it the Lowest Price Guarantee, and it is an in-store policy. Here is how it works, according to Chemist Warehouse's help centre at the time of writing:

Rule	What Chemist Warehouse says
Who it matches	Another Australian registered pharmacy or Australian registered retailer
Where	The competitor must have a physical trading address in the same state as the Chemist Warehouse store
What you get	The competitor's price, plus 10% off the difference
How many	The retail limit that applies, or a maximum of three of each product
Proof	A catalogue or online reference from the other retailer showing valid proof of its price
Checks	Staff may contact the competitor to verify the price before granting the match
Online orders	Not available, including Click and Collect, Fast Delivery and Online Only products

Chemist Warehouse also says it can deny any price match claim that doesn't meet these criteria.

Chemist Warehouse price match in Australia in 2026: worked example

The "10% off" is 10% of the price gap, not 10% off the whole item. Say a vitamin is $20 at Chemist Warehouse and $18 at another pharmacy in your state:

Step	Amount
Chemist Warehouse shelf price	$20.00
Competitor's price in the same state	$18.00
Difference	$2.00
10% of the difference	$0.20
What you pay after the match	$17.80

So the guarantee gets you the lower price and a little more. It is most useful when the gap is large and you are buying up to three of the same item.

What Chemist Warehouse won't price match

The Lowest Price Guarantee has clear exclusions, and they mostly cover online offers and special deals. According to Chemist Warehouse, the policy excludes offers that are exclusively online, and it can't be applied to the other company's products if they are:

• out of stock
• short dated
• on clearance or discontinued
• part of a promotional offer, such as buy one get one free

It also excludes purchases made through Click and Collect or Fast Delivery, and products sold by Marketplace sellers unless the seller specifically says otherwise.

In practice, that means bringing a normal, in-stock shelf price from a pharmacy or retailer in your state, for the same product and size, to a Chemist Warehouse store.

Chemist Warehouse official deals: catalogue, clearance and vouchers

Beyond price matching, Chemist Warehouse's own deals come from its catalogue, its clearance range and occasional voucher codes. Here is what Chemist Warehouse says on its own help pages at the time of writing:

• Fortnightly catalogue. Chemist Warehouse releases a new catalogue every fortnight, with new offers and promotions. You can view it online or pick up a printed copy in store.
• Same prices online and in store. Prices are the same, except for online-only promotions.
• Clearance. The website has a Clearance section in its main menu.
• Voucher codes. Codes are applied at online checkout, and each one can only be used once. Some exclude products, need a minimum spend or expire after a set time.
• Prescription delivery. Prescription orders dispensed online by Chemist Warehouse get free regular shipping with no minimum spend, according to its shipping help page.

Our guides to Chemist Warehouse discount codes, free delivery at Chemist Warehouse and the next Chemist Warehouse sale go into each of these in more detail.

The cheapest way to shop at Chemist Warehouse in Australia in 2026

The cheapest route depends on whether you are buying in store or online, because price matching only works in store. A simple routine:

1. Check the current catalogue first. If your item is already on special, you may not need a price match.
2. In store, bring a competitor's price. If a pharmacy or retailer in your state is cheaper, take the catalogue or online reference to the counter and ask for the Lowest Price Guarantee.
3. Online, start from ShopBack. Price matching isn't available online, so open the Chemist Warehouse page on ShopBack and check out on the website.
4. Use Click and Collect when it suits. Chemist Warehouse says Click and Collect orders are usually ready within 4 hours, with conditions.
5. Ask about generics. For medicines, your pharmacist can tell you whether a generic with the same active ingredient suits you.

Chemist Warehouse and other Australian pharmacies

Chemist Warehouse sits among Australian pharmacy chains such as Priceline, TerryWhite Chemmart and Amcal, and a store from one of them in your state can usually be a source for a price match, as long as the product and price meet Chemist Warehouse's criteria. Supermarkets and other retailers also sell many of the same vitamins, skincare and personal care brands. Because Chemist Warehouse only matches Australian registered pharmacies and retailers with a physical address in the same state, an online-only seller or an interstate price won't qualify.

How ShopBack fits into a Chemist Warehouse online order

ShopBack lowers the effective price of flights, hotels and online orders after you pay, and it is a step you take before you check out. For Chemist Warehouse online orders, where the Lowest Price Guarantee doesn't apply, going through ShopBack first is how you pay less on the same order.

Cashback lowers what you actually pay for an order. It comes back as cash, so it works like a discount on the price, not like points or miles. ShopBack Australia is free to join.

How to do it:

1. Pick your products on chemistwarehouse.com.au.
2. Open the Chemist Warehouse page on ShopBack and tap through to the store.
3. Check out on the Chemist Warehouse website.
4. The Cashback shows in your ShopBack Australia account after you pay.

Your effective price is what you pay minus the Cashback, at the rate shown on the ShopBack Chemist Warehouse page.

Chemist Warehouse vouchers, credit card rewards and ShopBack together

Voucher codes, card rewards and ShopBack can all play a part in one online order. Chemist Warehouse voucher codes come from Chemist Warehouse itself and are applied at online checkout. No code is needed for Cashback: go through ShopBack before you pay.

Credit card rewards. Paying with a rewards credit card earns whatever your card normally pays on the amount charged. Your card issuer sets the reward and any exclusions, so check your card terms.

Frequently asked questions

Does Chemist Warehouse price match?

Yes, in store. Under its Lowest Price Guarantee, Chemist Warehouse says that if you find a cheaper price on the same item at another Australian registered pharmacy or retailer with a physical trading address in the same state as the store, it will match that price and give you 10% off the difference. It is limited to the retail limit or three of each product, and it doesn't apply to online orders.

Does Chemist Warehouse price match online?

No. Chemist Warehouse says it can't process a price match for online purchases, which include Click and Collect, Fast Delivery and Online Only product purchases. For online orders, the way to pay less is the catalogue specials, a voucher code if you have one, and going through ShopBack before you check out on the website.

What is the Chemist Warehouse 10% off the difference?

It is part of the Lowest Price Guarantee. Chemist Warehouse matches the competitor's lower price and then takes 10% of the gap off as well. If an item is $20 at Chemist Warehouse and $18 at a pharmacy in the same state, the difference is $2, so you would pay $17.80.

What do I need to show for a Chemist Warehouse price match?

Chemist Warehouse asks you to bring a catalogue or an online reference from the other retailer that shows valid proof of its price. Staff may contact the competitor to check the price before they grant the match, and the discount is applied when you buy the product in store.

What won't Chemist Warehouse price match?

According to Chemist Warehouse, the policy excludes offers that are exclusively online, and competitor products that are out of stock, short dated, on clearance or discontinued, or part of a promotional offer such as buy one get one free. It also excludes Click and Collect, Fast Delivery and products sold by Marketplace sellers unless the seller says otherwise.

Are Chemist Warehouse online prices the same as in store?

Mostly. Chemist Warehouse says prices are the same online and in store, except for online-only promotions. Products labelled Online Only are sold and shipped by third-party Marketplace Partners, so their delivery and returns follow the seller's own policies.

How often does the Chemist Warehouse catalogue change?

Chemist Warehouse says it releases a new catalogue every fortnight, with new offers and promotions. You can view it online at chemistwarehouse.com.au or pick up a printed copy in store.

How does ShopBack lower the price of a Chemist Warehouse order?

ShopBack lowers the effective price of online orders after you pay. Open the Chemist Warehouse page on ShopBack Australia, tap through and check out on the Chemist Warehouse website. Part of what you spend comes back as cash, so it works like a discount on the price, not like points or miles.

Can I use a Chemist Warehouse voucher code and ShopBack together?

Chemist Warehouse voucher codes come from Chemist Warehouse itself and are applied at online checkout, and each one can only be used once. No code is needed for Cashback: go through ShopBack before you pay.

Do I get credit card rewards at Chemist Warehouse?

Usually, yes, at whatever rate your card normally earns on the amount charged. Your card issuer sets the reward and any exclusions, so check your card terms. Card rewards come from your bank, while ShopBack returns cash on online orders when you go through ShopBack first.
