What is More Telecom?
More Telecom, branded More, is an Australian-owned telco headquartered in Melbourne and led by brothers Andrew and Richard Branson. It sells nbn plans including Fixed Wireless and fibre upgrades, 5G SIM-only mobile plans, mobile broadband, home phone and business services, all on no lock-in contracts with 24/7 technical support outside public holidays. In 2021 More formed a strategic alliance with Commonwealth Bank, which holds an ownership interest and gives CommBank customers discounted plans managed through the CommBank app. Sign up through the ShopBack More Telecom page to earn cashback on an eligible plan at the current published rate.
How does the CommBank discount at More work?
More's plan pages state that CommBank customers get $25 a month off new nbn plans and $10 a month off mobile plans for three years, with no lock-in contract, plus a $50 bill credit for the first 5,000 CommBank customers in the current offer. On the Fast Max and Ultrafast nbn plans CommBank customers can also take an eero 7 router at $0 upfront under a 36-month arrangement, with a buyout of $5.50 for every month remaining if they cancel early. These are More's own discounts and sit separately from ShopBack cashback, which tracks on the plan sign-up itself, not on hardware.
Which nbn plans does More sell and at what price?
As of 4 October 2026 the More nbn page lists Value at $80 a month with a typical evening speed of 25 Mbps down and 8.5 up, Value Plus at $100 for 50 down and 17 up, Fast Max at $105 for 500 down and 42.5 up, and Ultrafast at $125 for 860 down and 85 up, before any CommBank discount. More also names Fast, Fast Plus, Superfast and Hyperfast tiers across its range. Standard connection is free and there is no lock-in contract. Plan prices change, so confirm on more.com.au, and start from the ShopBack More Telecom page so the sign-up tracks. How do modems and setup fees work at More, and do they earn cashback?
More offers an eero 7 Wi-Fi system at $198 for one unit up to $540 for three, and a NetComm NF71 Wi-Fi 7 modem from $0 to $372 depending on configuration, with standard connection free. CommBank customers on Fast Max or Ultrafast can take the eero 7 at $0 upfront on a 36-month arrangement. For ShopBack, hardware devices, routers and modems are excluded, as are gift cards and promo codes not featured on ShopBack, so cashback is calculated on the plan sign-up only and a modem added to the order does not count.
More vs Telstra for nbn in Australia?
Telstra is the largest Australian telco with its own retail stores and bundled entertainment offers, and generally prices nbn plans at the premium end. More is a smaller Melbourne-based provider that competes on no lock-in pricing, free standard connection and the CommBank customer discount of $25 a month for three years, with 24/7 technical support. If you bank with CommBank and want a mid or high speed tier, run More's discounted price against Telstra's for the same typical evening speed. A More plan signed up through the ShopBack More Telecom page earns cashback at the current published rate.
More vs Aussie Broadband?
Aussie Broadband is a well-known Australian-based nbn provider with a reputation for local support and transparent network management, priced above budget providers. More also runs Australian 24/7 technical support and no lock-in contracts, and its edge is the CommBank alliance: three years of monthly discounts and the $0 eero 7 router offer for eligible CommBank customers on Fast Max and Ultrafast. For non-CommBank customers the comparison comes down to price per speed tier. Our Aussie Broadband vs Telstra vs TPG vs Superloop comparison covers the wider field; the ShopBack More Telecom page covers the cashback.
Which network do More mobile plans use and what do they include?
More's 5G SIM-only mobile plans run on the Telstra Wholesale network. As of 4 October 2026 the page lists 30GB at $33, 50GB at $40, 75GB at $46, 100GB at $52 and 160GB at $65 a month, all with unlimited standard national calls and SMS, calls to the top 15 countries, a 1,000GB databank, eSIM and no lock-in; downloads are capped at 150 Mbps on plans up to 100GB and 250 Mbps on 160GB. CommBank customers get $10 a month off for three years. A plan activated after clicking through from the ShopBack More Telecom page earns cashback at the current published rate. How do Australians switch to More without downtime?
Because More plans have no lock-in contract and free standard connection, the main switching risk is overlap. Check your current provider's notice period, order the More nbn plan through the ShopBack More Telecom page, and only cancel the old service once More confirms the connection is active. For mobile, keep your number by entering your existing account details during sign-up so the port happens on activation. Any modem bought from More is excluded from cashback, so if your existing modem is nbn-compatible, keep it and keep the order to the plan only.
How do I earn ShopBack cashback on More Telecom?
Click through fresh from the ShopBack More Telecom page to more.com.au, choose your nbn or mobile plan and complete the sign-up in that same browser session, accepting the site's cookies. Use only promo codes featured on ShopBack. Cashback is calculated on the plan sign-up, excluding hardware devices, routers, modems, gift cards, fees and taxes, at the current published rate on the ShopBack More Telecom page. It typically tracks within two days and confirms after about 35 days once the service is active; lodge a missing cashback claim with your More account number if it does not appear within a week.
Do cancellations at More affect my ShopBack cashback?
Yes. ShopBack's More Telecom terms state that rejected, cancelled, refunded or returned purchases are not eligible, so if your nbn or mobile sign-up is cancelled before the service activates, or More rejects the order, the pending cashback is removed. The confirmation window of about 35 days exists so More can confirm the service went live. Because More plans have no lock-in contract, you can leave later without affecting cashback that has already confirmed, but cancelling inside the window voids it. Keep your order confirmation until the cashback confirms.
