Casey's Toys

Casey's Toys is an Australian toy, game, hobby, and collectibles retailer that has been trading since 1974, so pick your toys, then check out through ShopBack before you pay, where ShopBack Cashback works like a discount, only easier than a promo code. It began in Ettalong on the NSW Central Coast, where brothers Frank and Ron Casey had their mother Nellie run the shop while they repaired toys to sell at reduced prices, then moved to Gosford and later Erina. Today Casey's Toys Pty Ltd (formerly Uncle Pete's Toys and Casey's Toyworld) is 100% Australian owned and operated, with stores across New South Wales and an online store. Orders placed through the ShopBack Casey's Toys page earn Cashback at the current published rate.

Casey's Cash is an in-store promotion rather than a standing loyalty programme. During the 2026 window, which runs from 11 September to 17 October, you receive a $1 Casey's Cash note for every $10 spent in store, rounded down to the nearest $10, and the notes can be used as payment at any Casey's Toys store until 24 October 2026. Notes cannot be used on the day they are issued, are not issued on discounted transactions or gift card purchases, and cannot be redeemed online at caseystoys.com.au. For online orders, ShopBack Cashback is the equivalent reward.

The dated events on the Casey's Toys site are the Casey's Cash window (11 September to 17 October 2026, redeem by 24 October) and the Christmas change-of-mind extension for purchases between 1 November and 24 December. Beyond that, Australian toy pricing follows the mid-year toy sale season around June and July, Black Friday on 27 November 2026, and Boxing Day from 26 December. ShopBack upsizes on the merchant appear on the ShopBack Casey's Toys page when they run, and the rate on the day you click is the one that applies.

Change-of-mind returns are accepted within 14 days for an exchange, voucher, or refund, provided the item is unopened, unused, and in perfect resellable condition with proof of purchase; dress-up and Odds and Ends Sale items are excluded and you pay the return shipping. For purchases between 1 November and 24 December, change of mind is honoured until 31 January. Online orders cannot be returned to a store and need an official Return Authority number first. Faulty, damaged, incorrect, or missing items are replaced at Casey's expense.

The department stores run national store networks and compete on everyday pricing for mainstream lines. Casey's Toys is a specialist: it stocks the same major brands (LEGO, Barbie, Hot Wheels, Nerf, Fisher-Price, VTech, Play-Doh, Crayola) plus hobby-grade kits and collectibles through its Hobby Centre locations, with staff advice as part of the offer. If you want a specific set or a hobby product, Casey's suits; if you want the cheapest basic toy during a chain sale, compare first. Casey's Toys online orders earn ShopBack Cashback through the ShopBack Casey's Toys page. For a deeper look, see Kmart vs Target vs Big W Australia 2026: Household Basics.

Both are Australian toy specialists that sell online and through their own apps, and both are ShopBack merchants. Casey's Toys has traded since 1974, is 100% Australian owned, and runs 13 stores, all in New South Wales, plus a Christmas change-of-mind extension to 31 January. Toymate's store footprint and policies are published on its own site. For a NSW shopper who may want to swap a gift in person, Casey's has the local store; for everyone else, compare the current published rate on each ShopBack page and the delivery cost at checkout.

Online orders are dispatched within 24 hours and shipping is capped, so a bulky order does not keep adding postage. If a parcel has not arrived after seven days, Casey's lodges a trace with the courier, and if it cannot be located within ten days a replacement is sent. Hobby-grade items follow a separate process through the Hobby Centre stores or customer service.

All Casey's Toys stores are in New South Wales: Bathurst, Brookvale, Campbelltown, Castle Hill, Charlestown, Erina, Maitland, Mt Druitt, Narellan, Shellharbour, Tuggerah, Wagga Wagga, and Wollongong. Erina is the long-standing home store after the business moved from Ettalong and Gosford. Stores offer low-sensory shopping hours and layby.

Go through ShopBack before you pay and the Cashback tracks to your ShopBack account.

Casey's Toys says change-of-mind returns are accepted inside a 14-day window, with a longer window for Christmas purchases. Faulty-item replacements are handled by Casey's directly and are treated case by case.
