When Does Platypus Have a Sale in Australia in 2026?

Platypus has a Sale section on its website all year, and its biggest announced sale is Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Its own Black Friday page says its 2026 Cyber Weekend deals are coming in November, with Black Friday on Friday 27 November and Cyber Monday on Monday 30 November, and that its Black Friday discounts run in store and online across Australia.

ShopBack Australia is a free app and website that gives part of what you spend at partner stores back to you as cash. Going through ShopBack is an essential step before you check out at Platypus, so you pay less on the same order. Join ShopBack Australia for free, then open the Platypus Shoes page on ShopBack before your next order.

When does Platypus have a sale?

There are two answers: the always-on Sale section, and the big seasonal events, led by Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

1. All year: the Sale section. Platypus keeps a Sale section on platypusshoes.com.au, split into women's, men's and kids, footwear, clothing and accessories, with brand pages for labels such as Adidas, New Balance, Converse, Vans, Puma and Dr. Martens. On its Black Friday page, Platypus points shoppers who can't wait to this range for "the best deals all year around".
2. November: Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Platypus calls Black Friday an international sale event where some brands offer their biggest deals of the year, and says its own discounts run both in store and online.
3. Member offers through the year. Kicks Club members earn reward vouchers and, according to Platypus, get access to members' only offers. These come and go, so check your emails if you're a member.

Platypus doesn't publish a full-year sale calendar, so for any event other than Black Friday, treat dates you see elsewhere as unconfirmed until Platypus announces them.

Platypus sale in Australia 2026: the dates to know

For 2026, the confirmed dates come from Platypus's own Black Friday page. Here is what is announced and what is not:

Event	2026 date	Status at the time of writing
Sale section	All year	Live on platypusshoes.com.au
Black Friday	Friday 27 November 2026	Platypus says Cyber Weekend deals are coming in November
Cyber Monday	Monday 30 November 2026	Named on the Platypus Black Friday page
Boxing Day	Saturday 26 December 2026	Not announced by Platypus
End of financial year	June 2027	Not announced by Platypus

Platypus also notes Black Friday is one of the best times to get Christmas gift shopping done. If you're buying gifts, check its delivery cut-offs, which it publishes on its delivery page ahead of the holiday period.

What is the cheapest time to buy at Platypus in 2026?

Usually during Cyber Weekend in late November, or the day the exact pair you want drops into the Sale section in your size. The price you pay depends on the shoe more than the calendar, so it helps to have a plan.

Price trends to keep in mind:

• Popular sizes sell first. Sale stock in common sizes goes quickly, so if you're a common size, buy when you see the price you're happy with.
• Full-price new releases rarely wait for a sale. If you want a specific new colourway, it may sell out before Black Friday.
• Watch the effective price, not just the sticker. A sale price, a Kicks Club reward on your next order and going through ShopBack all change what the shoes really cost you.

Plan big-sale purchases through ShopBack, so the sale price costs you less. Before Black Friday, pick your shoes, note the sizes and prices, and on the day open Platypus from ShopBack first, then check out.

Platypus official sale: where to find it

The official sale is on platypusshoes.com.au under Sale, and Platypus announces Black Friday on its own Black Friday page. Some sale searches use travel words like "fare sale", but for Platypus the official places to check are:

• The Sale section on platypusshoes.com.au, with filters for women's, men's, kids and brand.
• The Black Friday page on the Platypus website, which lists the Black Friday and Cyber Monday dates.
• Kicks Club emails for member offers, since joining means opting in to Platypus marketing emails.
• In store. Platypus says its Black Friday discounts apply in store as well as online, and its website mentions hundreds of stores across Australia.

Platypus Kicks Club: how the rewards work

The Kicks Club is Platypus's free loyalty program, and under its terms it gives you a $10 voucher for every $100 you spend in one transaction. Key points from the Kicks Club terms and conditions (effective 10 July 2025):

Rule	What the terms say
Who can join	Australian residents aged 18 and over, opted in to Platypus marketing
Cost	Free, online or in store
Earning	$10 reward voucher for every $100 spent in a single transaction, after discounts, excluding shipping
Example	Spend $250 and get a $20 reward
Using a reward	Only on a spend of $100 or more in one transaction
Expiry	90 days from issue
Online timing	Rewards are applied once the order has dispatched, which may be 1 to 2 days
Limits	Not for gift cards, shipping or prior purchases; not transferable

Because rewards are earned in $100 steps, a $195 order earns the same $10 as a $100 order. If you're close to the next $100, it can be worth adding something you'd buy anyway.

Student discount and delivery

Students get 10% off with UNiDAYS, according to Platypus. You'll find it on the student discount page of the Platypus website.

Delivery, at the time of writing:

• Free express delivery on orders over $150, in metro areas (2 to 3 business days) and regional areas (2 to 4 business days).
• $9.99 express delivery on orders under $150.
• $23 next day delivery in metro areas.
• Free 1 hour Click and Collect in store during trading hours.

Shipping is excluded from Kicks Club earn, so free shipping over $150 is worth planning around.

How ShopBack fits into a Platypus order

Going through ShopBack gets you a cash rebate on the same order, at the same store. For stores like Platypus, just as for booking sites such as Booking.com, Trip.com, Agoda and Expedia, going through ShopBack is an essential step before you check out, so you pay less on the same order.

Cashback lowers what you actually pay for an order. It comes back as cash, so it works like a discount on the price, not like points or miles.

How to do it:

1. Open the Platypus Shoes page on ShopBack and tap through to the store.
2. Check out on the Platypus website as usual.
3. The page says purchases track in about 2 days and confirm in about 105 days.

Check the live rate on the day on the Platypus page on ShopBack.

Worked example: you buy a $180 pair of sneakers in the Black Friday sale. The order qualifies for free express delivery, and your effective price is $180 minus the Cashback that comes back at the rate shown on the Platypus ShopBack page.

---

Can you use Platypus promo codes and ShopBack together?

No code is needed for Cashback: go through ShopBack before you pay. Sale prices need no code, and part of what you pay after the markdown comes back as Cashback.

---

Paying by card

Some credit cards earn points on everyday spending. Card points and the cash from ShopBack are separate programs, so in many cases both can apply to one online order, but card terms vary. Check your card's terms before you rely on it.
