Where ShopBack fits. ShopBack Australia is a free app and website that gives you part of what you spend back as cash. Check ShopBack before you check out. Sign up, then tap through to Country Road, Myer or David Jones and pay as normal.
How we checked. We read Country Road's own Rewards Program, delivery, returns and promotion terms pages, Myer's Country Road brand page, and the 2026 calendar. We do not quote sale prices or live codes, because they change during each event.
When does Country Road have its sales in Australia?
Country Road has three kinds of sale, and they run on different timetables. According to Country Road at the time of writing:
- The Sale section, all year. Country Road's website keeps a permanent Sale section across Woman, Man, Teen, Child, Baby and Home. Stock changes as seasons turn over.
- Spend & Save, at selected times. Country Road's Rewards Program page describes Spend & Save as its "signature member offer, available at selected times throughout the year". Silver members get early access, and VIP Gold and VIP Platinum members get first VIP access.
- Short site-wide events. Country Road's promotion terms list a 25% Off Almost Everything event on full-priced and sale Country Road products. It ran online from 6pm Tuesday 29 September 2026 to the end of Saturday 3 October 2026, and in Country Road stores, David Jones, Myer and THE ICONIC from Wednesday 30 September to Saturday 3 October 2026.
Country Road does not post a sale calendar in advance on its site. The best way to hear first is to join its free Rewards Program and watch the big Australian retail windows below.
Country Road sale: how it works
Before a sale, know the rules that shape your final price. These come from Country Road's own pages at the time of writing:
| What | Country Road's rule |
|---|---|
| Free standard delivery | On online orders over $100; $9.95 under $100 |
| Same day delivery | Flat $15 in Australian metro areas |
| Delivery time | 3 to 5 business days, and possibly longer during sale events |
| Change of mind returns | 30 days from delivery for online orders in Australia, on most full price and reduced items |
| Final Sale items | Cannot be returned or exchanged for change of mind |
| Exchanges | Discounts received at purchase are honoured if the new item is of equal or higher value |
| Outlet | Outlet stores and outlet.countryroad.com.au; many main-line offers exclude them |
Two other ways Country Road lowers the price:
- Multi-buy offers. Its promotion terms list limited-time "buy 2" or "buy 3" prices on selected full-priced lines, such as men's chinos, polos, shirts, socks, kids' leggings and bath towels. Some apply only online at countryroad.com.au.
- Fashion Trade. According to Country Road, donating at least one clean, undamaged Country Road item at an Australian Country Road store or Australian Red Cross shop earns a $10 voucher, which expires six months after it is issued.
Country Road's own Rewards Program: the official way to save
The Rewards Program is free to join and is the main route to Country Road's member pricing. According to Country Road at the time of writing, new members get 15% off their first full-priced purchase (conditions apply). Benefits then grow with what you spend over 12 months:
| Tier | Spend over 12 months | Key benefits, according to Country Road |
|---|---|---|
| Member | Free to join | First access to new collections, Spend & Save access, 30-day reward expiry |
| Bronze | $300+ | $20 Welcome Reward, $20 Birthday Reward, 60-day reward expiry |
| Silver | $750+ | Free standard delivery on all online orders, early access to Spend & Save, $30 rewards |
| VIP Gold | $2,500+ | First VIP access to Spend & Save, $50 rewards, free online returns, 90-day reward expiry |
| VIP Platinum | $5,000+ | Annual gift, $100 rewards, free online returns, 120-day reward expiry |
If you shop Country Road a few times a year, the Silver tier is the one that changes your costs most, because free delivery removes the $9.95 charge on smaller orders.

Country Road sale best deals in Australia 2026
The best Country Road deal is usually a full-priced item you wanted anyway, bought during a site-wide event, by a member, through ShopBack. In order:
- Join the Rewards Program for the 15% welcome offer and Spend & Save access.
- Wishlist items before an event, so you can move fast when an event opens.
- Check whether an event covers sale stock. The September 2026 event applied to full-priced and sale Country Road products; others apply only to selected full-priced lines.
- Clear $100 per order, or reach Silver, so delivery is free.
- Check ShopBack before you check out, then pay on the store's site in the same session.
Other Australian fashion stores people check during sale season include THE ICONIC, Witchery, Trenery, Seed Heritage and Myer's and David Jones's own fashion floors.
Myer vs David Jones for a Country Road sale: price comparison 2026
For a Country Road promotion that runs across retailers, Country Road's terms usually list the same dates at Country Road, David Jones and Myer, so the price gap is often small. The 25% Off Almost Everything event in 2026, for example, listed David Jones stores and davidjones.com, and Myer stores and online, from Wednesday 30 September to Saturday 3 October 2026.
Where the two department stores differ is in their own events and member programmes:
| Store | What it offers for Country Road shoppers |
|---|---|
| Myer | Lists a Country Road brand page on myer.com.au; runs its own storewide sale events through the year |
| David Jones | Sells Country Road in David Jones stores stocking the brand and at davidjones.com, according to Country Road's offer terms; runs its own department store sales through the year |
| Country Road | Full range, Rewards Program pricing, and some offers that are online only at countryroad.com.au |
How to compare fairly:
- Use the same item code, colour and size on each site.
- Compare the final total with delivery, since thresholds differ.
- Check whether the offer applies at that store, because some Country Road promotions exclude myer.com.au, THE ICONIC or outlet stores.
Buying Country Road at Myer and David Jones in Australia
If a Myer or David Jones sale lands while Country Road is at full price, the department store can be the cheaper place for the same item. The routine:
- Find the item on countryroad.com.au and note the price and code.
- Search for it at Myer and David Jones and compare the total.
- Open ShopBack Australia, find the store with the lowest total, and tap through: Myer on ShopBack or David Jones on ShopBack.
- Pay on that store's site in the same session.

How ShopBack lowers what you pay for Country Road
ShopBack works like an automatic discount that arrives after you pay. Cashback lowers what you actually pay for an order. It comes back as cash, so it works like a discount on the price, not like points or miles.
How to use it on a Country Road, Myer or David Jones order:
- Sign up free at ShopBack Australia or in the app.
- Before you check out, go through ShopBack to get a post-purchase discount on the order. Open the store's page on ShopBack and tap through.
- Shop and pay on the store's website as normal.
- Once the order is confirmed, the cash shows in your ShopBack account, and you can withdraw it.
Illustrative maths. On a $200 Country Road order at an illustrative 3%, $6 comes back, so the effective price is $194. The rate is only an example: check the live rate on the store's ShopBack page, and read the terms there, because some codes, gift cards or product types may not be eligible. Our guide to saving during mega sales covers how this works during Black Friday and Boxing Day.
How to apply this
- Join Country Road's Rewards Program before the next event.
- Note the windows: Black Friday on 27 November 2026 and Boxing Day on 26 December 2026.
- Wishlist and compare the same item at Country Road, Myer and David Jones.
- Check the offer terms for which stores and products are included.
- Check ShopBack before you check out on the store with the lowest total.
