ETravelSim

Buying an ETravelSim eSIM? Pick your data plan, then check out through ShopBack before you pay: ShopBack Cashback works like a discount, only easier than a promo code. Plans are delivered as QR codes for eSIM-capable phones. Australian travellers use ETravelSim as an alternative to Vodafone / Optus / Telstra roaming charges for cheaper data on trips of 7 days or more. Book via www.etravelsim.com and activate ShopBack through the ETravelSim merchant page on ShopBack Australia to earn cashback on eligible purchases at the current published rate.

Single-country plans and regional plans, sized by data allowance and validity. Data-only default. Verify current availability, pricing, and terms on www.etravelsim.com before purchase.

ETravelSim runs promotional windows tied to AU travel booking cycles: AU school holidays (April, July, September, December), Black Friday (November 27, 2026), Cyber Monday (November 30, 2026), and Boxing Day. Verify current promotions on www.etravelsim.com before buying, and click through fresh from the ShopBack ETravelSim merchant page to keep cashback tracking clean.

After purchase on www.etravelsim.com or in the ETravelSim app, the eSIM profile installs directly on eSIM-capable iPhones (XS and newer) and Android phones (Pixel 3 and newer, Samsung Galaxy S20 and newer). Activate the plan before or on arrival by toggling the ETravelSim line as your active data line in your phone's cellular settings. Keep your primary AU line active for calls and SMS while ETravelSim handles data. Activation typically takes 2 to 5 minutes with Wi-Fi at the origin. Verify device compatibility on www.etravelsim.com before purchase.

Saily offers Nord Security backing. ETravelSim's differentiator relative to Saily is set out in the product overview above. For AU travellers deciding between the two, cross-check current pricing and product terms on both merchants' sites before locking. Both are cashback-eligible via ShopBack when purchased through their respective merchant pages where available.

Nomad offers broader country coverage. For AU travellers evaluating ETravelSim against Nomad, factor coverage, per-unit pricing, and product depth for your specific trip. Both are cashback-eligible via ShopBack when purchased through their respective merchant pages where available.

AU carrier roaming (Vodafone $5 Roaming, Optus Travel Pass, Telstra International Day Pass) typically charges AUD 5 to 10 per day for a fixed data allowance from your AU plan. ETravelSim eSIM plans typically price at AUD 5 to 20 per GB depending on country and plan, with no per-day charge. For short trips of 2 to 5 days with heavy daily data needs, carrier roaming often wins on simplicity. For trips of 7-plus days or where daily data is light-to-moderate, ETravelSim typically wins on total cost. Cashback via ShopBack applies to ETravelSim eSIM purchases made through ShopBack but not to AU carrier roaming.

ETravelSim eSIMs work on eSIM-capable phones; AU travellers can activate on arrival Wi-Fi. AU travellers should factor local currency, connection times, and applicable insurance / roaming stacks. Verify AU-specific terms on www.etravelsim.com before purchase. Cashback via ShopBack tracks on eligible purchases at the current published rate through the ETravelSim merchant page on shopback.com.au.

Open ETravelSim from ShopBack and buy on www.etravelsim.com. Go through ShopBack before you pay and the Cashback tracks to your ShopBack account. The ETravelSim page on ShopBack shows the live rate.
